What is a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner?

A Pediatric Nurse Practitioner is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) with specialized education and training in the care of infants, children, and adolescents. Our PNP is qualified to provide a wide range of healthcare services, including:

  • Well-child checkups and routine exams: Monitoring your child's growth and development, providing anticipatory guidance, and addressing any concerns.

  • Diagnosis and treatment of common childhood illnesses: From ear infections and the flu to asthma and allergies.

  • Management of chronic conditions: Helping children with conditions like diabetes, ADHD, and asthma live healthy lives.

  • Developmental screenings: Identifying and addressing potential developmental delays.

School and Sports Physicals
